What Is Skin Needling and How Does It Work?
Skin needling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses a handheld device with a cluster of very fine, sterile needles to create thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels across the treatment area. Your skin reads these micro-channels as a mild injury and responds by producing fresh collagen and elastin, the two proteins behind smooth, firm, even-looking skin. Because the channels are microscopic, there's no cutting or removal of skin, just a controlled trigger for your body's own repair process. Results build gradually over the weeks following each session as that new collagen forms, which is why skin needling works best as a course of treatments rather than a single visit.

What to Expect and Aftercare
Before we begin, we cleanse the treatment area and talk you through exactly what's about to happen, especially if it's your first time. The device passes over your skin in even, overlapping strokes, and most clients describe the sensation as a mild scratching or tingling rather than pain. A full face treatment typically takes around 30 to 45 minutes, longer if you're adding the neck and décolletage. Straight afterwards your skin may look a little pink or feel warm, similar to mild sunburn, and we'll run through simple aftercare before you leave, including keeping the area out of direct sun and skipping active skincare ingredients for a few days so your skin can do its job undisturbed.
