Choosing Your Technique
Feathering (also called microblading) creates fine, hair-like strokes for a natural, textured finish, and suits clients who want their tattooed brows to blend seamlessly with their own hair. Ombre and powder brow use a soft, shaded gradient instead, similar to filled-in makeup, and tend to hold their colour a little longer on oilier skin. Combination brow blends feathering through the body of the brow with a soft powder effect at the tail for extra definition. We'll talk through which suits your skin type, hair growth and the look you're after at your consultation, rather than assuming one technique fits everyone.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Your appointment starts with a proper consultation about the shape, thickness, colour and technique you're after, followed by brow mapping to design a shape that suits your face before we begin. A numbing cream is applied to keep you comfortable throughout. Most first appointments take longer than a touch-up, since we're taking the time to get the shape and colour right from the start rather than rushing it.
Healing & Aftercare
Your brows will look darker and more defined immediately after treatment, then soften as they heal over the following weeks, so don't judge the result on day one. We'll talk you through simple aftercare, including keeping the area dry, avoiding sun exposure and makeup on the brows, and skipping other facial treatments nearby until healing is complete. A touch-up appointment a few weeks later is a normal part of the process, letting us perfect the shape and colour once healing has finished.
